Stories That Matter

Real Learning Journeys as They are Lived and Experienced!

Learning is rarely a straight line.

The most meaningful learning journeys aren’t tidy or predictable.

They are layered, personal, and often shaped by moments that never show up on a report card.

This page holds stories and conversations from real people — students, parents, and individuals — navigating learning, identity, and growth in their own way.

Recorded Conversations From Real Learning Journeys!

This space holds recorded conversations and interviews, offering moments of reflection, insight, and lived experience. Each conversation stands on its own, together forming a quiet archive of learning journeys beyond traditional narratives.
Learning differences affect academic performance. The mainstream school system is one size that doesn't fit all, that is how some students get left behind.#adhdbrain

When Confidence Comes First

Listening Before Teaching

A Different Kind of Progress

Stepping Away From Comparison

A Quiet Turning Point

Why Stories Matter

Stories That Reflect Trust, Growth, and Possibility!

I believe stories teach what instruction cannot.

They show us:

These are not performances. They are honest conversations — shared to reflect possibility, not perfection.

Shared Stories

Stories Shared Quietly, Without the Need to Be Seen!

Not every story needs a camera. Some are written, some anonymous, and some arrive as fragments, moments, reflections, or realisations. This space holds shared journeys and reflections, each one offered with care.

Mother of a Student

Michelle has been a wonderful tutor for my daughter. What I truly appreciate is how she takes the time to understand her individual needs and adapts her teaching style accordingly. She uses different techniques and approaches to support her learning, which has really helped build both confidence and interest in the subject.

I have seen steady progress, but more importantly, I see my daughter becoming more comfortable and motivated to learn. Michelle’s patience, dedication, and genuine care for her students truly show in the way she teaches. I’m very grateful for the support she continues to give.

Emily’s mum

Mother of a Student

We would like to express our gratitude to Teacher Michelle, as our daughter performed well in her recent Year 6 Cambridge Checkpoint exam.

With her guidance, Emily is now able to write essays vividly and express her ideas clearly, constructing them well in sentences. Previously, she could hardly write long stories, but now she enjoys writing and approaches it with confidence.

Henry

Student

I am truly grateful to have such an outstanding teacher. She explains every topic in a clear and engaging way, making even difficult concepts much easier to understand. She has a strong ability to teach almost all subjects, and her patience and dedication really stand out. She always takes the time to make sure every student can follow along.

Her lessons are well-organised and enjoyable, which helps build both confidence and interest in learning.

What makes her even more special is how much she genuinely cares about her students. She is always supportive, approachable, and willing to help whenever needed. Because of her guidance and encouragement, I have improved from knowing almost nothing to becoming confident and sufficient in my studies.

I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, inspiring, and caring teacher. She helped me go from not being able to read or speak English to being able to communicate and understand it with confidence and without pressure.

Teacher Michelle is a great teacher. My son has been learning with her for seven years and is still continuing. Her teaching is a masterful blend of expertise and heart. With years of experience behind her, she navigates every subject with confidence and insight, anticipating challenges before they arise.

Her professionalism sets a wonderful example—she is punctual, prepared, and always committed to his progress. Yet it is her patience that truly transforms lessons into something special. She gives him the time he needs to understand, the space to ask questions, and the grace to learn at his own pace. We are so grateful to have her. Thank you, Teacher Michelle.

Kayden & Kaylee’s mum

Parents of a Primary learner

Teacher Michelle has been a great tutor for my children. They have improved significantly under her guidance.

They used to receive D grades in their exams, but with Teacher Michelle’s excellent teaching, they have now achieved A’s.

Elijah's Dad

Dad of a Primary Learner

If I could go back in time, the only thing I’d change is starting my son with Michelle sooner! We’ve seen such genuine progress in his English and Math, but it’s her ‘human-first’ approach that really sets her apart.

She doesn’t just teach subjects; she builds the confidence needed to tackle them. Michelle has a knack for making the complex feel manageable and—dare I say—actually fun. Highly recommended for any parent who wants results without the high-pressure environment!

En Ai’s mum

Mother of a Student

My daughter was only an average student before she started with Teacher Michelle.

Five years later, she secured an A* in English as First Language for her IGCSE 😄

Teacher Michelle was so patient, supportive, and encouraging throughout my daughter’s IGCSE journey. She didn’t just teach English — she instilled discipline and a strong work ethic, which carried over to her other subjects as well.

Final tally: 7As.

My daughter was taught by a very dedicated teacher who truly aims to bring out the best in every student.

THANK YOU, Teacher Michelle! We are very grateful to you! 🥰

Clara(homeschooled for 9 years)

Student

Hello everyone, I’m Clara. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my teacher, Michelle, who taught me throughout my 9 years of homeschooling.

Before meeting her, I struggled a lot in school. My grades were poor, and I was even bullied, which made me afraid to go to school. At one point, I almost gave up on studying completely.

Everything changed when I met her. At first, I didn’t understand her teaching style, and honestly, I even found her quite strict. But over time, with her patience, guidance, and constant encouragement, I slowly began to improve. She helped me believe in myself, and I even started to enjoy learning — especially Mathematics.

Throughout my journey, especially during my IGCSE exams, she never gave up on me. She supported me, guided me through past-year papers, and stood by me during the times I felt lost and uncertain.

Today, as I graduate and move on to a new chapter in college, I feel truly grateful. Without her, I wouldn’t be who I am today.

Thank you, Teacher Michelle, for your patience, dedication, and unwavering support all these years. I will always remember everything you have done for me.
